The 2023 European Flat season was the year of Ace Impact, Auguste Rodin, Big Rock, Blue Rose Cen, Emily Upjohn, Hukum, Inspiral, King of Steel, Mawj, Mostahdaf, Nashwa, Nations Pride, Paddington, Shaquille, Tahiyra, Warm Heart, and Westover, plus there were the undefeated 2yo stars City of Troy, Henry Longfellow, and Vandeek and impressive juvenile filly Opera Singer, among many more equine celebrities in all age groups.
It was another championship year for the Timeform 147-rated great and now phenomenal stallion Frankel, five former Group 1-winning fillies were represented by a Group 1-winning son or daughter during the year, and two freshman sires had a particularly notable year with their first crop.
